CANON POINT: near the start of book 2.

BACKGROUND: book 1 wiki! ( Teresa's wiki, The Kill Order, a prequel that tells some of the story of Teresa's childhood )
INCENTIVE/FIT:
Teresa's incentive, as of right now, is going to be for her and her friends to have the Swipe removed, so they can all have their memories back. If/When I end up canon-updating her, that might change? Since she'll.. experience that in the future. But for now that's totally her main concern, wanting to help her friends feel less in the dark/confused about what's going on, so maybe they can find the cure faster. She thinks getting her memories back will help with preeeetty much all of that. As with most characters who grew up in a dystopian future, Teresa's very mature for her age. Even with the loss of her memories, she still has her sense of logic and self preservation and ~~sass~~ street smarts. She also would just really want to hold up her end of the deal, so she'd try and be Very Mature and Practical(!!!) about snuggling up with people.

ANYTHING ELSE? Teresa has a chip in her brain that not only swiped all the memories of her life before the Maze, but it also gave her the ability to communicate telepathically with a select few others who had the same chip. I'm up for the telepathy to just not working at all in game, or if it does work, it's just like.. a telepathic projection? just communication, she can't go digging around in people's heads. but it's up to you guys - I'd like to keep the chip functioning, because I'd like for her memories to still be gone for now, but the telepathy is sort of secondary, so. yus! up to you.

teresa has surface-thought levels of telepathy. she can't dig into memories or anything beyond being able to "hear" immediate thoughts, and communicate telepathically.
- can Teresa hear what your character is thinking if she's focused on them?
- can Teresa communicate with your character in their mind?
